Event Masters: be effective and collaborative (J1PGS005W)
Have you ever thought of organizing an event? Do you know what makes a successful event? Here is your chance to know more! In this workshop, you and other student members will work as teams to design and organize an event. You will learn about different event types and important elements of an effective event plan through games, discussion, and group activities. Students who completed this workshop would have the opportunity to take part in the preparation work of the Student-led Conference, “The Beautiful Hearts & Minds of Gifted Students”.
Upon completion of the programme, participants should be able to:
- distinguish different event types, their characteristics and framework;
- explain important elements of an effective event plan;
- describe the roles and responsibilities of every member of the event management team;
- describe interdependence in teamwork and advantages of learning from collaboration.
